Brominated isobutylene-isoprene rubber

Brominated isobutylene-isoprene rubber (BIIR) is a isobutylene-isoprene copolymer elastomer containing active bromine. As BIIR possesses nearly saturated main chains typical of butyl rubbers, it has most of the properties of butyl polymers such as high physical strength, good vibration reducing performance, low permeability, excellent aging and weather resistance.

In the year of 2013, we invested 1.6 billion RMB to prepare the butyl rubber project with a production capacity of 50, 000 tons per year. The project aims to manufacture different grades of butyl rubbers and bromobutyl rubbers by taking advantage of international advanced technologies using isobutylene and isoprene as the major materials, which extends the company’s business to materials industry chain and plays an important role in promoting the rubber industry and development of green tires. Chambroad Rubber Co. has competent management teams, powerful research ability, well-established technical service and quality system. We are committed to becoming the industry leading provider of polymer application solutions.
